Welcome to UK-USA Ministries! Thanks for taking the time to click through our website. We are so fired up about all that the Lord is doing in our lives and through this ministry. In the fall of 2010…After much prayer and consideration we came to the conclusion that our heart, as a family and my gift mix as a Minister, is to shepherd, teach and serve on the foreign field. God has uniquely wired and inspired my family to be apart of this exciting ministry opportunity in the United Kingdom. For whatever reason He has seen fit to knit our families heart together with the people of the Tees Valley in Northeast England. In September of 2011 we arrived in Teesside to serve as the Centre Director at Tees Valley Youth for Christ & as Pastor at The Vine Church Teesside. Serving in a dual role to come alongside fellow believers here to reach out to the people of this amazing valley. It has been an incredible journey of faith and God’s faithfulness. We are continuing to pray daily about how best to reach out to the children, young people and families across The Tees Valley. I know that the Lord has given me a passion to be a servant leader in this place. Join with us in praying for an awakening here. Pray for God to foster and develop relationships that lead to conversations about God. I am more convinced than ever that the only way to reach the next few generations in the UK is through that process of relational ministry. Life on life….. evangelism and discipleship intertwined. I also believe that what the Lord wants to accomplish here is bigger than any one of us. He very well might be creating a movement among young people and students that sweeps through the UK and touches other countries and continents. He has done that before here in the UK…wouldn’t it be exciting if He did it again?

I believe God has called UK-USA Ministries to the NE of England to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a hurting and hopeless generation. While the UK is not considered an unreached people group, there are definitely at least two generations that have grown up in a “Post Christian” world. Their existence is void of any knowledge or understanding of the gospel and the life changing relationship they can have in Jesus Christ. I believe that through the process of relational evangelism we can reach the children, students, young people and families of the UK. At UK-USA we want to be the conduit that connects students and churches in the USA to the young people of the United Kingdom.

Vision Trips: Each year at UK-USA we will be providing opportunities for Pastors and Staff to explore the ministry by participating in a vision trip to the UK. Be looking for more details!

Short Term Mission Trips: UK-USA will provide logistics and in-country support for our partnering churches to facilitate life changing mission trips. Our goal is for partnering churches to have a long term vision for a particular school and community to build lasting relationships for the gospel.

Church Planting: Ultimately UK-USA Ministries exists to plant gospel centered churches across the UK. While we are not quite sure what that looks like in the UK…we are willing to risk and try anything to reach the unreached! We would love to see Bible studies in homes, pubs, schools or the Football (soccer) pitch! One very effective strategy that we have kicked off recently is Café Church (Café Church is a casual worship experience with a gospel-centered message that meets in a local coffee shop). We currently help support 6 different Café Churches that we have started across Teesside. Every Tuesday night somewhere in The Tees Valley there is a gathering centered around worship and God’s Word. The plan is to implement and resource more in the coming years.

Mentoring Youth Pastors: As USA churches partner with UK-USA Ministries our hope is that the Lord will raise up a “person of peace” to be the Youth Pastor to the school/community that the USA church adopts. UK-USA will shepherd and mentor each Youth Pastor serving overseas within the UK-USA partnership.

Gap Year Placement: Another key to relational ministry is identifying and placing Gap Year youth workers in schools and communities. We are looking for Gap Year youth workers who range from 18-25 years old that have a passion for serving young people, for building relationships and for sharing Christ as opportunities present themselves. UK-USA Ministries hopes to place 30 Gap Year workers every year in the Tees Valley.
